I know I'm a bit late to review this, but it REALLY pissed me off.

Firstly. I hate fan-girl preference. Cloud is the main character of FF7, therefore everybody loves him. This does NOT mean that he can miraculously make himself super-powered and defeat ALL the main characters of FF9 with one attack in a manner of seconds.

Secondly. If Cloud killed Dagger, than logically, Zidane would go into trance... this is not really a logical conclusion, but I know that that's what would happen. And then Zidane could use Grand Lethal or one of his other tasty, cheese-flavoured attacks.

Thirdly. You appear not to have Cloud getting hurt AT ALL. It's not the way battles work. While he was killing the others, someone would attack him. They don't just wait neatly in a line to be hewn down.

Fourth. I REALLY hate Cloud.

I have soo much fun reading this fic. No matter how many times I read it, it's still funny. I've got to send this to my cousin, she'll love this. To Pink Lemonade: Doomsday kills everyone in your party. The only way you can use it is if you have Steiner and Vivi in your party at the same time, so you could use the Doomsday Sword. And even so, Final Attack paired with Phoenix materia would still kick everybody's ass. XP

And now, an extremly accurate reveiw.

First of all, I am going to approach this fic and the battle within it fairly and as if a real battle (Using the statistics of both games) had happened.

There is no way Cloud could beat the characters he battled.

What must first be taken into account is that Cloud would move much quicker than the FF9 characters and would be able to get many more attacks in, simply beacause his action bar fills about twice as fast as the others. However, no one attack could dissable all of his opponents and at least 5 attacks from the FF9 side would hit him. Also I am assuming that this fic takes place AFTER both games and that everyone is at top level and has 9 life (Except for Kuja who had more than that every time you fought him in the game. How far filled up is the character's trance bars or Cloud's limit bar? It seems that Cloud's bar was already filled as he used Omni Slash first thing and even if none of the FF9 were in trance they would still win.

Freya would jump, vivi: cast slow, Zidane: normal attack, Kuja: Super Nova, Quina: Mustard Bomb, Eiko: Summon Madeen, Garnet: Summon Ark, Amarant: Throw(See below), Steiner: Doomsday Sword.

Because of Mustard Bomb, Cloud would be unable to attack again. How many gems dose the group have to determin how strong both summons would be? Do they have any Pinwheels or Rising Suns for Amarant to throw? Additionaly; Cloud has no support abilitys and cannot inflict status effects, so the support abilitys equiped on the FF9 characters would all be things like MP attack, Man killer, Auto Life and Auto Potion(Speaking of which how many potions and phoenox downs on both sides?)

Plain and simply, in a battle, Cloud loses. However this is a fic, not a battle so anything can happen.

Wow... never thought i'd find somthing that was so out of scale. Any two character combinations from FF9 could smash Cloud! (with the exception of Eiko and Quinna)

And if they were the same level, Vivi or Zidane could beat him on their own! Aside from that, good job.

lol the last part with squall is a nice touch
