I liked seeing what Sam's reasoning might have been. Not to mention the tension between Sam and Bobby. Nice job.

Now that's just why I think Sam looked the way he did when he shot Jake! There has been talk of him being evil, but I think he was just angry at Jake stabbing him and having put two and two together about Dean!!

this was very good...i like the way sam justified his actions.It was very believeable that he wouldn't hesitate to kill someone for dean's sake.i also like seeing a slightly darker side of sam (its my weakness-lol)!anyways,another one to add to your great story list!keep up the awesome work

I'm glad you wrote this because it mirrors my feelings about Sam's actions. So many have used that moment to justify that Sam is turning evil. But when Jake insisted that he HAD killed Sam, our intelligent boy (who had been putting all the little pieces together) got undeniable confirmation into his brother's actions. Which meant that Sam would potentially now lose his brother because of what Jake had done. And for that alone, the rage and anger was justified and was not an indication of turning evil. Nicely done!

That was so sad. I kept hoping Bobby would say something because I think Sam's logic for why he killed Jake like he was on the nose. And I was sad that while Bobby was upset over Dean's deal, he never actually seemed pleased to see Sam. Sam's death was completely overshadowed by Dean's deal.

However I prefer to think that what has upset Bobby the most, with regards to Sam, is that the kid has finally fully entered the hunters world. Him putting Jake down like that has taken his last shred of innocence from him and I would like to think that bothers Bobby as much as thinking Sam isn't Sam.
