Wow. What a great story. The details really made Warren's parents come to life - Worthington Jr.'s "shiny" head and Katherine's "too puffy" lips and "too open" eyes. The way you use dialogue to explore your characters’ inter-relationships is Austen-esque. The dramatic tension between Jeanne-Marie and Jean-Paul truly snapped. But I liked the harness removal scene the best. Great release.

Is he ever gonna tell them that he's a mutant, or are they gonna die first? Did comic Warren's parents know before they were killed?

brilliantly good as usual! i'm really liking this "must be the music" storyline (but of course, you're writing it, so how can i not?!)
