Chicago backstory (so intrigued, though a bit biased cuz I grew up in the midwest, chicagoland area), "quicker than gravity"- ** yes, "inverted nod"- what a perfectly apt and concise description. I haven't reviewed a story in years so I'm a bit rusty at this, sorry, but mostly I'm eager to get back to reading- just wanted to let you know I'm really liking what I'm seeing (reading)!

Ah! It's taken me way too long to review this! But, here I go!

I absolutely loved this chapter. You built the climax up wonderfully, and I was captivated through the entire thing. I'm also a total sucker for people all coming together and doing something dramatic, so the part with the prayer really worked for me (I was pretty much cheering out loud). And everyone was so wonderfully in character...it was just awesome!

(Also, while I'm here, I'm going to do the new chapter too!)

I thought this was a fun addition. I think that the story as a whole did work without it, but it does add something to get to see Jack and David interact more. And, you know, I <3 your characterizations, so I thought it was great (and Jack falling asleep was adorable. And the term "Man-Movie Night" is hilarious to me).

Interesting Spot cameo in the end. I'd love to know what's going through his mind, but again, I need to reread the whole fic to remember nuances, because I remember loving Spot all the way through this.

I *Love* David and Jack in here, and Denton and Medda standing in solidarity. I was genuinely anxious about the whole thing -- like, actual heart-in-throat anxious -- and love how it all turned out and how you handled it. This is one heckuva chapter.

And, you know, if you take months and months to update again, I may very well show up on your doorstep in a frightening manner. I'm pretty sure I know what state you live in, and it's not very large. Can't be that hard to stalk you, right? :-P

You know what's really weird? I read this before, I'm pretty sure, because I remember David talking to the room, but I remember literally nothing else about it. So maybe... I read a snippet in your LJ and missed the real chapter somehow? Or... Have selective memory issues? Or something? ANYWAY.

Jack/David reconciliation: YAY! I love earnest!Jack. He does so WELL when he does it right. *sigh*

Also: Blink/Mush flirting! More yay! I love them so very, very much.

HA. It wouldn't let me review as studentnumber, since I already HAVE reviewed, but -shifty eyes- I have multiple accounts, SO. I don't actually have a lot to say, because I really need to reread this in context, but it's great building tension and angst. Jack: so mysterious! David: so crushing! Blink: so adorable! (WHAT. You knew I would say that, right? *g*)

That was AWESOME. Kristy had better do something badass with that footage. xD! I knew it would get violent but I really love the way you pulled everything off. I NEVER would have guessed what the plan was until it started though. I really like how you kept everything a mystery until it started. It was really good. I also love how you're able to keep everyone so in character which is something I always have trouble with, especially in the Newsies fandom just because when it comes to WRITING newsies fanfiction I tend to want to write fluffy lovey doveyness which doesn't work at all for alot of pairings without the correct plot and you perfectly manage to balance everything out. :)

That prayer was awesome though. I love how they turned the prayer on Snyder and that part of the prayer was the part he just couldn't handle and completely set him off.

You're a wonderful writer and I love this story. I can't wait for more of this sotry!!

Well, for the record, Spot can tackle David as often as you'd like, in case I haven't said that before. But this chapter was excellent! My brain is all warm and fuzzy now. So I have a guess as to what the plan is, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all works out. And I'd love to know what Spot's up to. Thanks for updating!
