That was nice, really. Sweet and cute, I loved it. Though some parts could be better (I mean those paragraphs that are just too long-cut them up, maybe?).

But overall, great story! I'm glad I was finally able to read this! You know I've been itching to since I read your other story XD

Well...that ending was a bit depressing, I'll have to say. Mep. Still, great idea with the childhood friends thing! Though I'm itching to read your happier ending. So...wait for the longer review later XD

Not that I dont enjoy the story...but there is a major OOCness here...from what I see in the anime, Kanmuri isn't the type who have low self esteem and like to wallow in misery. He rised back to his feet quickly enough after all his research data had been destroyed, and while he's happy when people acknowledge his eruditeness, he...knows his own skill and where he stands. If you want to make it OOC, do it all the way, like in the Yakitate Tale.

Having said that, I should praise you for coming up with a unique plot like this. It goes without saying that I like the alternate ending D. Cant wait for Zannen
