colombiansoccerchick 2008-03-31 ch 1,	abuseThat was a really good story! Fuji did seem to be rather depressed after his game with Shiraishi, and this is a rather good perspective fic on it. I also like the fact that you had Yuuta there to cheer him up, since Fuji cares alot for his brother. All in all that was a very good fic.

Yuuta's words, simple gestures and encouraging actions towards his Aniki (the one and only, grins), totally characterized him in this fic as an utter sweetheart of a brother that warmed not only my heart, but whose affections and worry for Syusuke brought tears to my eyes as well. You've written both the Fuji brothers excellently in character here. It's easy to see that Syusuke isn't all that hard and tough as he always appears to be in the series, and I'm glad to see a fic that decides to explore that side seldom seen of him in here. Yuuta's nothing short of perfect here - sweet, simple, plus you've even incorporated that childish, easily amused, boyish side of him that's definitely part of his personality, but is seldom captured in fandom works around the place. Thus said, fic certainly is going onto my favorites. How could it not - when one like yours have all the ingredients of Fuji brothers fluff, Yuuta as a sweetheart, loving brother, and Syusuke genuinely being his true self before his 'otoutou'? (:

I really like how Yuuta consoles Fuji, and it was interesting to kind of see his view of the match. And the characters are so well potrayed! Very much in character. (Clap clap clap)

Kals 2007-06-06 ch 1, anon.	abuseThe story is all right. Interesting enough for me to read till the end. Sigh, it reminds me of that hateful match. Tell you what, that match was a disaster, and it made me quit reading Pot the 2nd time (fyi, the first time was after the match between Echizen and Sanada). I expected Fuji's defeat since it is highly likely that he will lose that time, but what bothered me was the way he lost it. You may say he did his best at that time, but if that really was his best then I'd be very disappointed. He played like someone who hod no brain, sticked to one counter just to be defeated. What's the point of his evolved triple counters if he just used them once. Why does he only rely on his counters, especially the last one? Arrgh, that's what I hate the most about Pot, too fussy over things like special techniques and SOSA (really, with SOSA, is it still a sport manga?). Hayz, maybe I've talked too much. Sorry for bothering you with this. And thank you for your story.

(Alright, he did behave a bit childisch to... :p Certainly when he swings his arm to copy his brother's cool move... :p) Anyway, I like this story!! I really do!! It makes me wanna read/see those manga's/episodes... :) Unfortunately here in Belgium, they are rather slow with manga/anime... :( There's still a long way to go before I can see/read the nationals... :s But, I am patient! angelic lily 2007-05-24 ch 1,	abusei really liked this fic. its hard to find fics that are following the manga XP i liked that match too! i was kinda sad that fuji lost but oh well. it was still a good match. anyways, the one shot is well written. i liked the brother-brother interaction. and you know, kind of shows that yuuta doesn't really dislike his brother like most ppl in the fandom believe. good job =^^=

You've got some grammar mistakes and switch between past and present tense a bit, but overall the story is very nice! I like the interaction between the brothers and Yuuta's opportunity to be the supportive one. Thumbs up to warm milk too - yum. I always have to have vanilla and cinnamon in mine. :)
