It fights perfectly with the whole M.P., how it's absolutely ridiculous, and yet /perfectly/ scientific, how could anyone possibly think that the people didn't understand what they were doing? ANd how could you dare insinuate that they were being stupid or ridiculous?!

Sephiroth looking at Cloud not sure if he's a man or a woman (yeah, we've all been there), the impression that Zack was up to naughtiness with his minstrels, shrubbing, and poor Aerith, no wonder people would think she's a witch!
