Being a psycho Babylon 5 fan as you obviously are, I AM PLEASED TO READ SUCH A WORK! I hate Lochely, almost as much as I hate Byron *shudder* I love this story!

I just thought I should make this clear to everyone: I don't actually hate Lochley or dislike her in any way, it was just an idea that popped into my head while listening to the B5 mantra one day. I think Lochley is a fine character and have nothing against her. Please do not feel like I am bashing her deliberately in any way. Had it been someone other than Lochley who had taken over, I would have done the same to that person (even if it had been any other well known character). I apologise to anyone who thinks I was deliberately out to get Lochley, I'm not and I never will. I wrote this for fun and it's supposed to be taken for fun, not as a comment about Lochley or any other character on B5.

And I too love both B5 and the Star Treks. Every show is great in its own way just as every character is and they really should not be compared since they are not the same and never will be. Each is unique.

I actually liked Lochley, and I also liked Ivanova, so I can't say that this was very amusing.

It was almost as petty as the B5 - Star Trek debate, again of which I like both

Well, that's *one* way to get rid of her... D. Just out of curiosity, did they ever mention the name of Ivanova's new ship on B5? I have a story about Ivanova serving on the "Avenger" but thought I'd just made it up. Maybe we're stealing brainwaves from JMS... Great story! Most amusing!

HAHAHA! Lochley bores me, Ivanova is (compared to her) *god* indeed!

I can see the whole B5 mantra and chanting occuring right after the scene where Corwin is meeting Captain Lochley as she first arrives on the station.

Corwin and Lochley enter C&C, and Lochley says something that causes the crew there to do what they did throughout this story.

I have to admit that I've never seen Lochley, but from what I've heard... *shudders* Ivanova *is* God.

This was very cute.

I don't like Lochley's character, either, and much preferred Ivanova's righteous rage to Lochley's regulation-brownosing and refusal to take hard ethical stands that might be unpopular or unconventional. I found this a very satisfying little read. Thanks!

*laughs* I started to like Lochley in Crusade, but this is still hilarious... Ivanova is God, indeed. :)
