lateBloomer04 2007-05-31 ch 2,	abuseThe writers said that Will was free of the curse after 10 years since she was faithful, therefore it IS a part of the series. Or it's what I choose to believe anyway! But... It makes much more sense for your story if he can only see her for one day, every ten years. Much more motivation for Elizabeth to want to time travel that way. I'm really interested to see where you go with this. In the Star Wars and Harry Potter fandoms, time travel fics that have been written well receive LOADS of reviews! Yours has the potential to do the same. Update soon, whenever you can. I can tell, this one is gonna be good. :D

In fact, it would probably be less depressing if Will had just gone and died completely. At least then he wouldn't have to watch his dear Elizabeth grow old. Still intrigued, Sarah Jo
DCoD 2007-05-31 ch 2,	abuseSo far, I'm loving this story. The argument scene here had me in stitches! Lovely start, and please, update when you can. As to the ending of AWE.. yes, it wasn't quite stated in the movie itself. But here's what I think.. The ending was left open because it gives the viewers a chance to 'choose their own ending' of sorts. Some will automatically think Will's stuck captaining the Flying Dutchman forever, only able to come ashore once every ten years. Others choose to believe that once Will's gone ten year, and Elizabeth is still there loving him, he's free of the ship and able to live life again. I choose to believe the latter explanation. Much happier. :)
