Loved your story I think this is what Shonda is showing us with season 5 they are stable and happy. I agree with you about burning it all down I think it had to be done that way. I know we all want to see more MerDer but reading your story I think this is what she's trying to put across. keep writing.

Excellent excellent story! It's so true to the characters and exactly the way I want to see it play out.

Oh, I just loved this story. I loved that Derek and Meredith finally talked to each other and figured out what all was going on between them. I loved that Derek finally admitted what a trauma Meredith's drowning was for him, and I love that Meredith finally admitted that she's terrified he'll leave again. I loved it!

My hopes for S4 are that if Shonda is burning MerDer down like she did for real, and it's not just a bait and switch, that it's to restart them in a similar fashion to this. You novelized my highest hopes. Thank you so much :) If it doesn't happen on the show, at least I'll have this!

Anyway, you write beautifully. I encourage you to write more, and I can't wait to see what you come up with :)

That was amazing...simply amazing! And the truth of the matter some very tough questions can be answered quite simply...with the belief of another persons love. So thanks for that concise bit of encouragement that S4 will give Mer and Derek a new start and rebirth. Not easy, communication and trust you described in a realistic manner. Loverly...I look forward to see how close to beginning of S4 this comes!

I think you did a great job. And I agree with you! They do need to go back to the beginning. Realistically, they both need therapy to see that they both do have issues. Derek doesn't realize how much he has hurt Meredith and Meredith doesn't realize how much she can hurt Derek. I hope season four is like this and is a fresh beginning. Now, if only shonda can live up to you! So, any hope for an epilogue? LOL

I really liked the chapter. It was rather heartbreaking, seeking Derek push Meredith to breaking point, but necessary and wonderful regardless. I can't wait to see where they go from here. Just a quick question. Are you from Oz? I notice that you're in your last week of semester, I'm on swot vac so I thought we might have that in common!

hi im from ireland and totally addicted to greys like yourself! ive read a good few fics but this is the first one ive actually reviewed, so thats a good sign for you. just wanted to say that i agree with your take on the whole meredith and derek thing, a lot of fics out there seem to be blaming meredith for the whole breakdown of their relationship. but he left her, walked away more than once. if you want someone to trust you like meredith trusts her friends, you have to be there. always. like the night he looked in the window at them drinkin tequilas, instead of goin in and being with meredith, he turned around and went home, he left, again. so just wanted to say well done, your fic was very well written and insightful, i really enjoyed it. i was also wondering what do u make of the whole george izzie callie thing? are you goin to write a fic about them as well?

I loved it. It did give me so hope but I don't know how long I will have it once season 4 starts with Mer stuiped half sister there. I hope you do continue to do fics for MerDer.
