Great reflections on the characters! I love the metaphors and poetic way you put them.

Particularly, I like the idea of a person as a blank canvas and how 'the giving of a name begs the question, 'what shall become of the named?'. Also the bit about the Lady Jessica being 'another sort of bulb altogether, one much more likely to grow thorns'.

I like the flow of language in your naratives. It sounds real and true to Lady Jessica, and all three naratives definitely made me think. Excellent work. I hope you intend to write more in this category, I am sure it will be a great read. I can't get enough of Dune, and watch the "Children of Dune" miniseries all the time, even though it is really long. Even though the books and the series were vastly different in so many ways, I still love both formats, and I really like reading Dune fics. If you have other fics I plan to read them, and please let me know if you ever write another Dune piece. I would be happy to read more! Take care.
