great fic, but you should've really toned that anti-male strand of feminism down. quite a bit. you wrote us men as if we're all incompetent jerks who can't cook, can't drive, have awful taste in music, are momma's boys who cry all night and only want our mothers... as I said great fic, but you should've really toned it down, it spoils the experience.

im sorry, but this was really not good. First off, you've got House all OOC and same for Cameron and Chase and Cuddy. they're all unbelieavbly sweet. and wtf is this all about? 'hey! my mom's dying, but im so happy cuz i get to bake muffins and put make-up on people. and we're all so happy' this is bad. basically the girl(who is an annoying character in the 1st place) has a dying mom, and she cries ONCE and then suddenly acts as if she goes home for a jolly family visit with all the smiles and giggles. Also at the hospital, so the girl's mom is dying and all the nurses and friends do is gossip and smile and show her baby pictures? no condolances nothing. you need to realize that the world is not some happy go lucky place and that a loved ones impending and inevitable death is not something that MAKES YOU JOKE AROUND WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS! AND THE HUSBAND TOO! doesn't seem to be concerned at all except for the 'emotional phonecalls' 1)he's in a great mood along with everybody else, 2) WE NEVER SEE HIM IN THE ROOM WITH HIS WIFE. i can tell you that that man would and should not have been out of that room from the beggining of her hospitalisation. there's so much more i can do to pick your story apart and show how unrealistic and bad it is, but i wont. really, though, this story could have been good if u had dropped the mom's almost dead storyline and kept it to a family visit.
