HUZZAH!

I so wish that this had happened at the end of the movie! EXCELLENT work! At last, someone has written this! Congratulations!

What was so ANNOYING about the movie, is that those blasted pirates won... so stereotypical...

I saw the title for this story a while back, but I wish I'd read it sooner! I was so disappointed with AWE's ending, Beckett losing and all, so it's pleasant to read something that would have been much more likely anyway.

BTW, I'm hoping you finish your other fanfic, Powers of Temptation. :) I just so love that story!

Wow. That was AMAZING!! It made me cry that the Pearl was gone, but the victory was great.
I was reading this to my friend, and when I said "Fire at will!" She gasped, then burst out laughing when she realized that I did not mean "Fire at William Turner." She was laughing for the next 20 minutes, and I was like "yeah. s-m-a-r-t."
But, yeah, this story was GREAT!

Well of course I would hate for that to happen but very well written, mate!

Hah. I love this ending.

I think that makes me evil. Oh well. I felt rather confused when Beckett, instead of simply telling them to fire, wandered down some stairs with a dreamy expression on his face, blathering about how it was just good business. I thought that was out of character.

Can something from the movie even be out of character?! Oh well. I liked it.

That would have been an interesting ending. As your other reviewers have said, it would have been a very realistic ending if the pirates hadn't had all the supernatural elements on their side.

Your use of description is excellent as the ships are destroyed, and the confrontation between Beckett and Elizabeth is very true to character. They make Beckett out to be such a bad guy in the movie, but, when it comes down to it, the pirates weren't much better. Both were killing out of greed.

Great one-shot! Gets right down to the point.

That is very sad and very realistic, probably how the story went in real life.
