Needed something fluffy to read tonight...so I came back and reread this chapter. I think it's one of my favorite chapters of any fic ever. Seventeen new phone numbers...*sigh*

This story was good but it was a horrible grey's anatomy-based story. the portrayal of meredith is completely unrealistic she would never be that touchy and sensitive. she's tough and derek doesnt/cant change that, its' who she is.

Just wanted to say that I really like your stories. Today I finished reading this one for the second time. (The first time was several months ago) I've read Still Here four or five times and now I'm off to reread (and read the new parts of)Where You Belong and Here We Are

Okay, so I've been reading this story for a few days now, and I'm pretty addicted. I wish it could have been like this because, if any other Mer/Der addict was like me, you watched how they kept coming so close but she was struggling so hard and he wouldn't meet her halfway. She's had a lot of problems and he intensified them in their relationship.
So, I have to say that I thought this chapter was amazing. It's exactly what I wish Derek would have realized at some point in time during the show. That Mer is this ridiculous strong person who's survived some terrible things in her life and for her to love him and want to trust him again after how badly he hurt her was amazing.
Anyway, long rant over, thank you for this. It was very well written and beautifully expressed and I enjoyed it extremely :-)

So I'm kind of an addict for your writing now, going through each story. They're all so great, and I was just going to leave you a comment at the end of each bigger story. This chapter, however, called for me to stop and comment.

I love love love how Meredith seeing the mail triggered the whole thought process of asking Derek to live with her. Her distraction throughout the dinner and then ultimate rambling and frustration with herself was terribly sweet.

season three finale. "put me out of my misery... I met a girl last night... highlight of my week"

Your story is very well written. All the characters seem pretty close to tv show. When I read their lines I can almost hear the actors speaking them. So well.. Good one.
And it's a change to read a story about healing and growing up rather than getting more dark and twisty. But even though I enjoyed the whole MerDer relationship, I was a bit disapointed to loose the whole friendship thing. It's as if the more she got close to the Sheperds (His world) the further she went away from her own “good“ family (the other residnts and espacially Cristina.) Perhaps it's a part of the healing process but well... Anyway, it made me sad for the whole friendship thing. But it was a good thing to make Cris move to the house with the others.
I want to emphasize again how pleasurable it's to read about Meredith (and Derek) being healed...

For a hopeful moment I thought that Derek's coming to check on the bride would save the day... But no. Pity.
