i have finally read the whole story and i just thought that it would be nice if i reviewed it, too. :)
the reason i didn't read it at first is because i'm not that keen on reading stories written in the past because i just find them a bit boring. but i thought that i should give this a go and i'm glad that i did because i found it great! you have all the facts right about history and medicine in those days and you have got the language right too. i like the whole break-my-leg-thing-so-freckles-can-look-after-me. XD that worked and a lot of skate came out of that idea by itself. i think that you have done very well with this, the skate argument was written perfectly but what i really thought was good is the last chapter where sawyer writes kate his letter. it's sad that they didn't get to apologise to each other or say bye but now she's gonna find him. and i'm sure that there will be lots of other twists in phantom pains but hey, that's what makes a good story, right? i also find the 'i hate you' part to jack really genuine, that was good too. anyway, i like this a lot and i will definitely keep on reading phantom pains. :)

Aww, sad ending, but alright anyway. :) I'm not sure why Kate said that she hated Jack. I mean, he hasn't been horrible to her, except he wasn't that great that one time when he was drunk, but that's it. Oh well. Great story, off to read part two right now! :D

YAY, I'm back from my trip! Normally, I'd leave a long review or one each for all the chaps, but I have SOO much fanfic to catch up on, you have no idea. It's soo much, so I'll just say this -

I love this story and the past chapters have been amazing as always. A few parts I thoguht were a little OOC, but nothing too bad and it's always interesting. Off to read the last chap!

Oh, things are starting to get very interesting. I was kind of disappointed that James didn't really kill the president. I love how Kate protected him. Can't wait for more!!

Going on a suicide mission meant you died, not lay in a bed in pain looking pathetic, unable to move." - That was one of my fave parts. Very sad and very insightful and sad.

You should really go into this more, about him wanting to die and just giving up, but Kate not letting him.
