This was beautiful. Masterfully done. And I loved how Bobby knew that it wasn't going to be long before it was SamandDean again because you simply can't have the one without the other - it's not possible.

Oh, this is the best. YOU are the best. This is heart-wrenching. I love it. I love that it's from Bobby's perspective. I love that he's watching over Dean, a silent observer, doesn't let himself break until Dean is ok. Perfection!

Firstly, this was a beautiful fic. I loved the Bobby POV and the last line was incredibly powerful. *sniffles incoherently.*

Secondly, I just wanted to say "thanks" for not putting spoilers in your summary (I was spoiled for AHBL in this way by certain other authors.) Your discretion is much appreciated.

When Dean tells him to leave, Bobby knows he's failed. He's not psychic, hell, he's not even fanciful, but he's pretty sure when he walks out the door that it's not going to be long now before it's SamandDean again. Perfect Bobby!

What a wonderful story - I love that it's from Bobby's POV. Great. What a finale that was. I will have to bookmark you other site so I can keep reading your works.

Wow... very nice to see the finale from someone else's POV - and Bobby's was a great choice. He was there for all of the big moments, and has shown in his gruff way that he loves the boys a great deal. Also, nice tie in with the end of each section. It added a weight to something that was already so heavy.

BTW - Just thought I'd add a word of protest that you'll be stopping your posting on this site. LJ is not very reader-friendly as it limits us in the way that we view what you write. No changing the font size to make it easier on the eyes, and such. Plus, they don't have near the wonderful kind of alert system for updates that this site has. Obviously, it's your choice, but here's one loyal reader that hopes that you continue sharing your work on this site as well.

This was a wonderful and heartbreaking story, thank you so much for sharing it with us. I had tears in my eyes while reading it (still have actually); you wrote Bobby's feelings so perfectly. And I loved the repeat of he's not a young man, not any more and that he allows himself to break in the end and still feels hope.

Just a wonderful tag, Refur. I love the way you wrote this tragic event from Bobby's point of view. He really cares for those boys, really treats them as if they were his own. He genuinely tried to help Dean, to save Dean, and you've written that so well here. Thanks for giving us Bobby's tinge of hope at the end - we need it.
