Its really nice and simple. Its not always a kiss that shows chemistry between 2 people. Sometimes it's just a simple hug or a sentence with a hidden meaning behind it. I think you really did that wel.

Anyone who throws anything at you will be losing the ability to swallow, run, throw, and reproduce. Mwahhaha. Anyway, cold hard truth, eh? I didn't see anything that seemed overly corny or drawn out to be considered 'romantic', it seemed to be right on that level of cute but serious. My favorite lines had to be 28 (I'm a perv), 29 (I'm a sucker for the defenseless guys), 34 (new perspective of Raven stated), 37, and 40 (adorable). Overall, a good warmup, I can't wait to see those updates of chapter stories you were speaking of. ^-^
