This is unrelated to your fic, but I am wondering why everyone has Elizabeth give up the sea to raise her children: why would she need to? Actually, lady pirates have been known to get themselves pregnant, so that they would not be hanged at the gallows. If I was Elizabeth I think I would have stayed Pirate King, because on the sea I would have more of a chance to see Will. But about your story: Elizabeth would have stayed in practice with a sword. Keep writing, it's good!
