I really like this idea for your story. It's far more original than making Riku being related to Sephiroth or Kadaj, which is a wee bit overdone. You make me really wish I watched the film now.

Wow, I think every other reviewer summed up my thoughts here. Loved Kida's Reaction!, Loved Moses Mickey (Thanks to the events of "Sorcerer's Apprentice") and you get 50 points for the obscure Toy Story reference concerning Sora's parents! Makes me wonder who Sora's mom is.

Hello, zalixethbe here, just commenting on the fic! Well, I guess I told you by aim mostly how I felt about it, but I thought I should also leave a proper review. I can't wait for the next chapter, I'm excited by this fic! I feel a bit slow about not picking up on Riku's parents, but now I want to watch that movie. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next chapter! =)

Nice premises~ I love you for making them Riku's parents (makes totally sense! The look from his mother, the need to go explore new horizons from his father...). My only critic is that Kida's reaction seems a bit disproportionate (she was aggressive when she met Milo but she didn't know him and she was trying to protect herself). But maybe this will be explained in the next chapters, so it's okay. You made me curious XD
I hope you will continue to explore further Atlantis' setting :3

Rikune...Rikunem...ehh...since I'm too lazy to look it up, I'll just say that that was really clever! Though I thought Riku's mom was overreacting a bit, I never thought his family was THAT strange. Though it seem King Mickey has a lot on his mind. Can't wait to see what next chapter brings!

So, the fiction starts off with a good deal of promise, that being a quote from Meet the Robinsons, which is a very sadly ignored (but fabulous) movie.

It then picks up with good in character interaction (or ICI if you wish to make a short form of it) and a Mickey!Moses.
Add in finding out Riku's parents (which were not Tifa and Sephiorth, thank god), mix in ominousness, and a cliff hanger.

What do you get?

Seriously though, this is a lovely start, everything you'd want to find at the start of a fanfiction. The foreshadowing is nice, along with the promise of more Atlantis stuff (which is an awesome movie k plz thnx).

I'm interested in seeing where this will lead, and I can't wait till you bring in Wakka and the gang. *is looking forward to the interactions*
