wow, great work. sad! i am a huge ben/felicity fan but i can understand how hurt she'd be... sometimes i wish she had left him but i love them together too much for that. but great work on the writing, you captured everything perfectly.

I loved it. As the "random reader" has mentioned below, it is so hard to find a well-written Felicity fanfic especially on Felicity&Ben.

I also think that this piece really has the potential to be expanded. I hope you consider the possibility. Your writing is really high quality.

You know what saddens me? That, after wading hours and hours for readable Felicity fic, this is the only one that is enjoyable and keeps the characters in IC; that in itself is an accomplishment. Personally, I think you nailed the Ben/Felicity relationship: you retained the passion, intensity and love between them, but also showed how they could hurt each other. That, I believe, gave this piece a very realistic touch because loving somebody doesn't necessarily stop you from making foolish mistakes. Your Felicity and Ben were very human and flawed; just like on the show. So, on that point, thank you for writing something that mature and thought-provoking.

You struck a cord in me by having them ache so badly for each other, but being torn apart by circumstances. A part of me just wanted Felicity to ditch her husband, but another was content with the ending (because I don’t think that Felicity would intentionally hurt someone that badly). Then again, I love how you left some issues unaddressed; how there was so much regret and longing being conveyed in this piece. That being said, you portray emotions very well and your style is very nice -- simple, graceful and coherent (and the fact that this piece is free from glaring errors, makes it even better).

I think that this piece has the potential to be expanded, but even if you leave it like it is, it's perfect.

Interesting story. I really enjoyed it. I am not sure I agree with the trust thing, but it was so good to see a new FAB story, I can't complain. I really wish you would continue the story. I think it has a lot of potential. I love how upfront Ben is with her- that seemed so real and true to life to me. Great job.

Ah, yes, the drama that is Ben Covington and Felicity Portman (I mean, Fisher).

That aside, I enjoyed this story, despite the fact that the reason of their Break-Up (having something to do with Ben sleeping with someone and father a son) is pretty much lost on me as I didn't watch whichever season (Third or Fourth) that happened to be in, unless this was just totally made up for the purpose of the story's drama. I was kinda surprised that you didn't have Ms. Porter (former) hooked up with Noel, but a change from the usual Status-quo is nice. Felicity and Ben were pretty much true to their Television incarnations, and the tension between them could be felt as you read each scene.


All in all I enjoyed this story.
