I have read this before, but I need to make another comment. I didn't read the last part, just reviewed it from there. I read the entire thing, and Holy Freakin Shoot, you're good! I literally was moved by Rita's reaction at the end. I kinda know how that feels, thinking someone's dead and getting even with the person you are convinced killed him/her (the victim was my boyfriend and yes, he WAS killed after awhile, but I didn't killanyone. I thought an enemy of mine got him do I was trying to get even with her). I was touched, literally. GREAT! This story's good, good enough to make my dtories look like crap.

Cool. I loved it. NOW I HAVE GOT TO write another chapter of my stories. Both of them!

Far too much verbal jousting. It gets quite tiring after awhile.

I vote for Stough. A strong government never did anybody any good. Just look at the USA. All sorts of problems due to dumb desicions made by power crazed people.

definitely the best chapter. i enjoyed it so much i actually read it twice...thinking about doing it again...
call me soft, but i love that stuff...thinking of Rita when he got iced, she totally lost it when she thought he was dead...it all just thrills me to no end. ^_^
anyway, this was a fantastic story (not that we've come to expect anything less from you) and i'm certainly looking forward to anything else you may write!

aw, they lost it... well, hopefully that problem will be fixed. least of their worries, though, i know.

i think i've said it before, but i love these little exchanges between Roddy and Rita. they've got humor to them, but they still expose so much of the characters.

Wow, amazing end to yet another amazing story! Gosh, I've gotten to the point where I would love to read an entire series of these fics. It seems that you can come up with such great stories from such a simple movie. I can't wait to see some future works. The last two chapters gave me mixed emotions. I laughed, I cried (okay, not really, but I felt like I wanted to :p), and I just loved the action scenes. Keep up the good work! I love how Rita and Roddy live and learn, changing in some ways, yet being the same characters we fall in love with.
Well, I'll start rambling on now, I really hope we can see some future works now ^_^

I love it! It was BRILLIANT!! Honestly, and, not to criticize the other authors, you have got to be the best Flushed Away writer on this site.

I'll be damned, you've outdone yourself this time. Holy _. This is an amazing peice of work. I'm not even holding back this time, so serious. The way you did Roddy's sacrifice, i mean, just screamed his true character, and Rita's reaction, i mean, just wow. Shocked. This is by far your best work, (in my humble opinion.) and i cannot imagine how bomb the next peice will be; you have this habit of topping yourself with each writing.

You really created seething hatred for Stough, like, i haven't hated a character this much since the famous Snape sequence. And at the climax, you just turn the tables with Rita's reaction and then, the resurrection. Bible allusion? LoL, jk. The way you set up the characters for this one was truly amazing.

The moral dilemma you left for the reader at the end, whether intentional or accidental, was the double-fudge icing on the cake. I need a walk outside after this one.
