Absolutely brilliant! I cannot ever remember reading a first chapter of a book that had me in so completely as much as this did - and I've read thousands of novels. Engrossing, enchanting, mind blowing! Please make this a novel or at least a novelette!

Wow! That was really great. I love this explanation for Snape joining Voldemort: it's original and it works. The way the story unfolds, just quietly and logically working its way to the end, is brilliant; I really enjoyed reading about Snape's search. And the end conversation with Harry was fun as Harry tried to figure out what was going on. You had me imagining his stunned expression. Having Tonks as the one who unravelled the mystery was a great touch.

The last line, incidentally, was pure genious. Thank you for a great and interesting read.

more more more! This is wonderful. There are several other stories along these lines of Harry being a king of an ancient kingdom (there is one with Ron being in that role as well). Please continue. I love this idea. This story could easily be slash (good or bad) or a Severus/mentor story. Please continue!
