The has beens and what ifs surrounding the Weilder and Protector.. This was an intimate and lingering study of the two of them intermingling those aspects very nicely.

A Beautiful story.

The way you describe Ian's thoughts and actions is so interesting - It really shows the innocent part of him, or at least the way it was back then in the beggning of the first season.

Your writing style is very good - I certainly liked the way made such an 'ordinary' scene (not much ordinary though - stakling, ancient weapons...) - into such a lovely story

Gorgeous story. I'm a fan of anything that hints at Ian and Sara's connection, but this is absolutely beyond the pale with the quick cuts of smuttishness. For some reason, I seeing flashes of *red* while reading - is it something intentionally written in? I looked back, and I didn't see the word itself, but there's a lot of references to blood, etc.

What a pleasure to read something so well written. Choosing the right word makes all the difference between your reader getting the picture and your reader being IN the picture. Vocabulary rules for verbal imagery! This is wonderful and it inspired me to step outside my previous genre (Nikita) and try one now for Witchblade.
