 Sheki Go 2008-08-27 . chapter 1great story |
 snowman794 2008-07-09 . chapter 1beautiful but sad |
RedBlueGreen 2008-06-27 . chapter 1Really good story, I thought. Shego and Sensei worked well together and Kim, Shego and Ron's relationships to each other are very well handled.
Really sad ending. |
It's Joyce and Walky 2008-05-14 . chapter 1Damn. I'm crying again. This is a great story. Your a great writer, good enough to make a full-grown black man cry. |
Mr. Wizard 2007-10-21 . chapter 1Very, very well done. Yes, very sad. I really like the pacing and way you went back and forth between times and scenes. Great. |
Iffert's Flame 2007-10-20 . chapter 1Blast it all, you made me go through a whole box of Kleenex. Very well written, very well done. It left more then a few tears in my eyes. |
The Creeping Spleen 2007-10-19 . chapter 1Congratulations. You have made a grown man cry. |
eoraptor 2007-10-08 . chapter 1Excellent little short. "I grew up in a neighborhood so tough you could get shot while you were getting shot." was a great line.
The handling of Shego and Sensei was excellent... especially when Shego catches him parroting platitudes at her and calls him out. I imagine they'd be a great pair if you ever expanded on this story line. ;)
didn't quite make me cry like you threatened. but it takes a lot more than that :) Keep up the good work. |
Silvercry 2007-09-11 . chapter 1Damn, that was good. Angst-ridden, but good. I usually hate angst fics. They’re so played out. Usually its all 'oh woe is me, for my life sucks even though I'm only 13, have no bills, enjoy free food, shelter, and medical care and all the familial support and love I could ever need if I wasn’t so busy being an emo prick! Oh, life is so hard!" But reasonable angst, handled skillfully can be quite powerful. The KiGo was not nearly as heavy handed as some stories of this type (being friendship-Kigo probably helped with that), which is a plus. Ron's instant turnaround to Yori seemed a bit rushed, though, as if you were trying a bit too hard throw in at least some semblance of a happy ending for at least some of the characters. Course poor Yori could just be the rebound girl too...
All in all, nice work. A Kigo Story for the masses… who don’t mind character death Ahem. |
CastaS 2007-08-09 . chapter 1I enjoyed reading it. great story. |
Scarlet Kurenai 2007-06-05 . chapter 1Beautifully written beeftony-san, i look forward to more of your writings. |
Catrlgirl 2007-06-05 . chapter 1Sniff ...sniff wha ta beautiful story. Iwoould like to see a sequel that shows the lives of the KP crew later after her death. |
Soulasylum 2007-06-04 . chapter 1*was crying until the end of the fic*
*something catch her eyes*

Excellent fic btw^^ |
Pharaoh Rutin Tutin 2007-06-03 . chapter 1One of the costliest engagements in the War of 1812 was the Batle of New Orleans in 1814 under the command of Andrew Jackson. This battle was fought after the peace treaty ending the war had already been signed.
I knew of a man who found out he had lung cancer after he stopped smoking. The damage had already been done, it just took time to become noticeable.
Nothing like losing after you get out of the game. |
The Humbug 2007-06-03 . chapter 1Ok, my evaluation of this tale can be summarized as follows:
1) Hm, nice. 2) Wow, very nice. 3) Aw... 4) GHAA! EW! 5) *sniff* Not going to cry...!
Very well written and both context and execution were first rate. This is the best 'death fic' that I've read and I'd even hesitate to call it a 'death fic'. Maybe it rates a new category... 'life fic', because while the death of anyone so young and vibrant is sad, there was no sudden tragedy or conflict or brutality that caused KP's death. The angst was balanced by a logically acceptable, if not exactly pleasant, outcome. It was the story of the ending of a good life. Well done and thanx for having written this! |
