ch 15,
abuseI just start reading your series and I've managed to read them all today (once I started I just couldn't stop!).
I love your AU universe and I sincerely hope that you write more. You've done a wonderful job of creating all of these great and dynamic character and intertwining them into your fics. Can't wait for more :)

abuseWhat a great story. I enjoyed your first one with JD and Ella and this one I think was even better! I hope you have a story for each of the kids, that would be great! Keep up the good work.

Maybe Carla, the tattoo minx, could get her own little away-at-college-story?

ch 15,
abusea great ending, all the ends tied up but leaving it open for more. as for the next one...i cant decide which i would rather read... Danny, Lindsay and Flack with small children (adorable!), the kids as teens, or maybe what happens next with Kaile and Dom? but whatever you decide, i look forward to reading it! good luck! x

ch 14,
abuseI love it! I love that they came full circle and the level of honesty there. But if you send Dominic to the Yankees, I will never be able to read any more of your stories. :-P

ch 14,
abuseNice ending, especially with the touch of humour at the end.

Anything can be worked out - I like the way you explore why they haven't doen that in the past - the uncertainty and concern about trusting versus pushing the relationship too fast. Because you have set the characters so well, their reasons make a kind of sense!

abuseGotta love those two tough New York men giving their kids romantic advice - made me go all mushy inside! Talk about shock treatment! lol

I like the pace of this chapter after all the action of the previous ones. Time to sit and work it out, kids!

ch 12,
abuseNice action balanced well against the emotional scenes. I love your closing shot, especially the way you have Hawkes comment on it.

I think JD is a brilliant addition to the 'family' - you keep him in this perfect supporting role, then just let him whip out when things seem to be going wrong. He is good balance to all of them, not just Ell.

And Dom is played so well here, too - the only one not involved in law enforcement and self-conscious with it, yet still confident in his own gut and heart.

I'd be lying if I said I was looking forward to the ending - although I do want to know what happens next!

ch 11,
abuseTeam, team, team - oh I love a team! I love the way they pass around responsibility and gauge each other's reactions. I love that Ell is the kick-**, Anna the talker, I love that JD gets right in there and 'fits' without even thinking about it.

And I love that Dom has finally woken up to the fact that baseball season doesn't last a lifetime!

abuse"Two ATF agents, an NYPD Detective, an FBI agent and a major league baseball player made for an interesting group, but Dominic would put them up against anyone."

This is why I love CSI:NY and this story: the way no matter what, they all hang together and support each other.

It's a great plot, good case, with solid details and a quick pace, but what I love about this story is the characters are such a team, even when they are at odds or are uncertain with each other. I love the generational thing going here, with the 'old' team working (and solving) the case, while the 'young' team goes to kick butt and save Kaile.
