I liked it both ways, it's the stream-of-consciousness thing. Yes, I'm an english nerd. Ever read "As I Lay Dying"? Don't. It's horrible. Steam of consciousness with uneducated farmer-hicks from the 1930's. They make no sense, and they're dumb, and weird, and not good.

Anyway, you, however, are brilliant at it, and each version was very good, and makes me happy and want to cry at the same time.

THAT is a sign of good writing, point being, you are brilliant with words!
