Not as criticism just interesting info, but I used to work for the union that represented locomotive engineers, and they aren't allowed to finish a route if they kill someone. It's quite horrible for them because often they can see the person, but can't stop the train since the laws of physics don't work that way. They try anyway and some of them end up with PTSD. The part about the railroad wanting things to start again with no delay is totally true. |
