Great way to wrap this story up, with Sam finally realising that his father had known about the Demon's plans for him all those years back. As for the brothers Sam is just glad to have his brother by his side, slowly opening up to him in little bursts of honesty and Dean is learning that emoting can be a good thing! As for the ending it leaves itself open for more to come - I hope. Thanks for a really great read. Rozzy

So the demon reveals a part of his game, shoving a few cards in John's face to tease him but keeping the rest of the pack firmly hidden. Poor John having to carry this knowledge around about what Big D's plans are for his son. And Sam innocently is none the wiser...!

I loved the story, and I am sorry to see it come to an end. I did love how you tied it all together in the end, and I agree that the last chapter needed it's own space. I loved that you were able to make the whole story be in Dean's head while at the diner. Making the transition to the present flawless. Great job

You do such a wonderful job describing everyone's thoughts/feelings. I have to admit that I'm a "Sam" girl but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the character of Dean. In many ways I think Dean is more messed up than Sam, and the last paragraph of this chapter attests to that.
