Hello,

I printed this tale out awhile ago - I think for the 2007 MEFA's and just found it as I was cleaning out my computer room. I'm so sorry I didn't get to review it for the MEFA's - it is truly excellent. I loved the relationship between the brothers; I loved the comaraderie of the 'future' captains; and I loved the tale itself.

Very nicely done - I'm copying the URL and sending it to another 'Boromir' lover!

Ah, an epilogue only. Glad that Daeron will receive his captaincy after all, and that he does recover.

They managed to save Daeron from the avalanche. Now, may they not become so glad of an easier way as to lose themselves and Daeron before the crossing is complete.

Excellent descriptions and evocation of the environment. And am glad Daeron also cares deeply for the land he seeks to protect.

I'm so glad to see this story posted publicly! I think it added a great deal to the "Brothers" zine. I really like what you concocted from that one little comment of Boromir's about being familiar with journeys in high places. The story has wonderful suspense, action, and brotherly interaction--a very satisfying read!

The silly site didn't send me an alert for some reason, that's why I missed you posting it!! But I'm simply thrilled to see it here. It's such a gripping, fascinating story, and your brothers dynamics is one of the best out there, and isn't it just cool that you mentioned me in the A/N? (chuckles)

The fandom really needs more stories like this one!

Great piece of work! I love fics about Faramir and Boromir, and yours is quite well-written as well as interesting. The only recommendation I would make is to wait a bit between posting chapters if you're looking for reviews. Though I love being able to read a story in one-shot (just in case life gets crazy and it's forever before I get back to it), it's been my experience that readers on this site are more likely to review if they have to wait at all. :D

Again, a great fic; I enjoyed it very much!
