Hi! I came across this story purely by accident and read it because I've never really seen any fanfics about Hayate and Yuugao before. Let me just say, that I was pleasantly surprised by your great writing skills and how taken in I was by this short story. The subtle humor and the way in which Hayate tries to keep himself from indulging in temptation was just conveyed really well. And then the kiss at the end,aww it was so sweet! Thanks for writing and I look forward to delving into this great pairing--you've really sparked my interest in them!

Hellfire. In the short of sense of "WHEE HAYATE FIC" and "DANGNABBIT I HAVE FINALS." I think there's some sort of conspiracy, seriously. Beyond just your little competition with Kilerkki. *counts on hand* Honestly, in the last what, week or so ...4+ fics that involve Hayate some way or another? =D Yeah, well, enough of that...

*snickers* Hayate, man of willpower. *straight faced* Does he gets points for effort?

*snickers again* And I can totally see how Hayate just /snaps./ He's the kind of guy that stuffs it all inside and then the time comes and then BAM. *drawls* You know, Hayate, if you were the sort of guy who'd /talk/ about his /feelings/ ...no? Oh right. ANBU captain.

Also, *kicks own HayaYuu fics* I swear. I've been working on these for the last three months; but dangnabbit I dunno, with all of these Hayate fics popping up I'm thinking maybe we're all on the same brainwaves or something.

For the WIN! I love this competition of ours--it produces better stuff every time!

The lead-up is terrific. We learn so much about Hayate through his temptations and what he learns from them, and at times I wanted to laugh and at times I just wanted to hug him and tell him it'd be okay. It's good to see he got through it all. And now I want to kick Yuugao for being a temptation--I get this image of her all vamping it up, which isn't it at all!--and at the same time it's so very sweet.

And sexy. XD

And now I have more plot ideas. Happy day! Thanks so much for writing this. Wish you could see how much I'm grinning right now.

My favorite line: "It was temptation that would surely doom him to worse ruin than any he had ever faced. And he had learned, bitterly learned, that there are some lines you just don't cross." -- because it seems to spell DOOM. And I'm excited about writing it with you!
