Ok, first of all I liked the story. It was nicely written and the interaction between the two flowed at a natural pace for a oneshot. However, some of the grammar and use of past/present tense was a little off. I suggest having a beta reader review it before you post. (Please don't take offense, your writing is good but having someone look it over beforehand could make it even better.) Keep up the good work!
