You melted my insides with this. Guh, it gives me shivers and twitches. I'm really trembling. Your wording is amazing. Absolutely amazing, to the point where the smallest sentence leaves the biggest impact. And the characters here... you don't have to try to shove them into character. Not really... it happens by itself in these kinds of fics where the characters find their ends, and you just have to watch for little things and not worry about making the dialogue perfectly like them. Because... well a lot of people each have a similar reaction to facing death, and I don't think that Duo would be an exception in that area. So you did amazing. It's very toned and descriptive. At the same time, there's a simplicity about it that makes it seems that much more wonderful. Just... brilliant.
