I adore this story! Wow, Dean taking the blame for Sam, and John so stern, and Dean not expecting this punishment, and yet just accepting it, and the parallel with 'the right tools', and John not liking it at all either, and Dean trying so hard to make sure Sam doesn't know. Great story, thanks!

Sam is so lucky to have Dean as his brother! I love my brothers to death but if I were Dean, I would've been like, "I need to go to the store!" :)

Poor Dean. I wish Sam knew what Dean went through for him. What a good big brother he is. Man, John was awfully strict in this. Great job and I'm sorry you've gotten so much crap for writing stories like this. I wish people were free to express themselves without criticism, especially when they aren't hurting themselves or others. Keep up the good work. There are plenty of people who support your endeavors.
