i thought the ms. (vs. mrs.) evans was to highlight the trouble in her marriage. so you fooled me (lol), i never even would have noticed that it was a mistake.

i have to agree with you; i really like the idea of james being a smoker. in alot of LJ stories i've read/written, that characteristic would be.. weird.. but it works well in this story.

sirius is just the way i'd imagined him at this age, and so is remus.

you've done a really good job of making the characters seem real, with deep emotions, etc. i know that sounds dumb, but the fact that you've established their thoughts/feelings lets readers understand the character's personality, which makes reading it even more fun. i know i explained that really badly, but. good characterizations, basically. lol

and rereading this novel of a review, it makes me sound like a really deep-thinking reader (i'm not, i swear), but i just wanted to point out the aspects that make this story so good.

good job, update soon! this is the first multi-chapter story i've really gotten into, and it's weird not being able to go from start to end all at once. but i guess that makes each section even better, after all the anticipation.. wow ok i'm done.

I'm really enjoying this so far, it looks good. This isn't M at the moment, T is apparently 13+ and allows for tame curse words (minor coarse language)and most 13 year olds are well aware of the fact that people drink and smoke. It'll be interesting to see where Lily goes with her feelings on Petunia's marriage and the contrast between Amos and James. I have to say, I like the way you've done Petunia. Looking forward to chapter 3,

I definetly don't think this is an M rating if its only for drinking and smoking. I think you should probably bump the rating down to T, especially because M rating sometimes stop people from reading a story (it used to stop me but I dont care anymore =]). ANYWAYS I really like this so far but is it going to be romance? I hope soo! Well anyways I really like this so far I dont know why but my fav. part is that James only smokes when he thinks of Lily...ok so I'll stop the rambling now and just say I can't wait for more!
