SkItZoFrEaK 8/30/11 . chapter 1So in case you hadn't noticed, I'm working my way through several of your stories now because I like your style and phrasing. And this is a pretty good piece; I love travel, so there's a personal appeal as well. I find it interesting that Sara is against going back 'home' to India. She seemed to be hunching her shoulders against it the same way she does against her father's sickness. I wondered at that - I got the impression that this had something to do with her father as well. I'm kind of hoping you continue this one. It feels a little unfinished. Like this is all Sara stiff-arming something bad that she can't avoid forever. Is that the feeling you were going for, or did I totally make that up in my own head? |

gypsyhick 6/10/07 . chapter 1Wow, this is wonderful. I love your writting style. Beautiful imagery here, and I love the introspective tone. What a great idea this was as a follow up to the movie. Beautiful picture of some special father-daughter, healing-from-the-past time. |
