I love how you weaved all of the chaers together so they all had a connection, and that the Muggle war also plays a large part, because not many HP stories involve that aspect of muggle life. I love how you managed to include some background information like Riddle's mother and the locket and ring that he would later use as Horcruxes. You really managed to describe Morfin's life after Azkaban, which was quite pitiful. Great job!

Lexie-H 2008-03-20 ch 3,	abuseBrilliant. Easily the best chapter - so powerful, so deep. You weave canon with character so intricately, and the storyline is concise and direct. Somehow, your characterisation of Tom is sympathetic and very (shockingly) real. The parallels you draw with Grindelwald as inspiration are also very clever - although it seems obvious now, I hadn't actually thought about the effect the war would have had on Tom. So - very thought provoking, very wonderful. I enjoyed this more than I can say =) Lexie

I love that you've woven history with fiction so intricately, and especially appreciate the little details - the removal of sign posts, and Mr Churchill's opinion on Communists - that really make this story. One thing I noticed, though: is this the Frank Voldemort kills later on? If so, I think you'll find his last name is actually Bryce. If not (because really, it's a minor detail) congrats on making such a brilliant OC. I found him thoroughly believable as a character, either way!
Cuban Sombrero Gal 2008-03-20 ch 3,	abuseI think this is my favourite chapter, if only for how well you've gotten into the head of such an intense, complicated character. The characterisation was almost impeccable, I'm happy to say. Question: care to write more about your interpretation of the Grindelwald war, because I really like your opinions?
