Am I reading this right? Did she just step through the curtain of her own accord? Come ON! This is Bellatrix Lestrange! She is referred to in The Deathly Hallows as "A witch with prodigious skill and no conscience" and she just stepped willingly to her own death? Where are the big bangs, smoke, screams and her dramatic escape?! Don't get me wrong; I'm not critisizing your writing - wonderful, to say the least -, simply Bella's out-of-characterness. Or maybe she feels that with Voldemort dead, that there is nothing left for her to live for? Or perhaps she preferred a sophisticated, un-childish end? You tell me... As I said, wonderful writing! :)
