One tiny nitpick, if the doctor could sedate Martin after the surgery...why couldn't she sedate him during?

I honestly cant say I ever even wondered what had happened to Tom. He just wasnt important to the story. I was a lot more interested in the fate of Darias parents/Quinn/Amy, etc etc.

Poor bugger though. I never had anything against Tom, not the way I would have wanted him to go out.

Great story! I can't wait to find out what happens! One question that's really been burning me though, where did the bombs come from? Anyway, please write more soon!

Daria's really developed since this story started. There was a time when she would have blushed scarlet at Jane's sex jokes. Now she's the one making Jane embaressed!

So is there a chance they'll be leaving soon? Apart from Martins recovery, it seems every obstacle to their leaving has been removed.

Another excellent chapter, if a little dark at the end.

What a chapter! Old One Shell finally gets whats coming to him, in more ways than one, but ends up slipping the net. I hope he suffers a fate similar to Martins mother! Getting captured and gang raped by a raider gang would be ideal! *evil grin*

Martin's certainly unlucky. I dont think any other character has been injured so often, or consistantly throughout this story. At least he has Daria to nurse him back to health.

Loved the Daria/Martin scenes as usual. Those are usually always good for character development.

The military raid went off flawlessly. Almost too flawlessly. Kinda makes you wonder if the people their targetting are even that much of a threat to begin with.

Another good chapter. Boy, you can see this getting very ugly very fast...
