Oh my god. I love "Covet." As in "Switch," your fragmentary and understated writing style works so well and is a welcome reprieve from the blatant melodrama of most fics. There's certain lines that I keep reading over and over again.

I think you explain the emotional turmoil Severus is going through with Hermione's return very well. He needs someone to give a damn about him. Hermione needs to be needed. Together they have the potential to be more powerful than they are separately IMHO.
