I like it, I didn't like CHarlie's death much, either the way it happened or the fact that they killed him (!) but I liked this, explaining his motives, aw it's so sad, the last bit. If you do a Claire one-shot, make it of what happens when Desmond comes back alone. Stupid Mikhail, how many times has he died now? Surely Charlie can have another resurrection, hardly anyone actually dies when they're supposed to on that island!

So sad! I loved Charlie! I'm actually glad you did this in first person in Charlie's POV. I got an understanding of what he might have been thinking and what you wrote was very realistic and in character =]

seriously, it was! i mean, charlie died for claire and aaron and now aaron won't be able to see him when he grows up! :( i hope that he magically comes back to life again though i doubt it. but i liked the way you told this and you were right, the song goes perfectly with this. anyway, i really liked it and please publish the second chapter with claire's part in, yeah? good! XD
