I'd try to empathize with Ginny, but my heart goes out to Harry and Severus, of course, because SSHP is my OTP an I hate HPGW.

... the concept of this piece is very nice too. I read a book by Meg Cabot once, (I'm pretty sure it was 'Victoria and the Viscount') and he says to her something along the lines of, "Don't go for someone who needs you, go for someone who wants you."

but that's a different story, I guess xP

It's a good plot for a story, and it's perfect for me.
Mainly because I love the Harry/Snape pairing.
And I hate the Harry/Ginny pairing.
So, it is good for me bothe ways.

Aw Thats kinda sad. I really liked the potions metaphor's for how Ginny was feeling inside, they worked well, a kind of mocking that the potions master had gotten the guy over her and that her feelings were so totally crushed because of it.

Well done. I like the way you had Hermione telling Ginny the facts so everything came across factual instead of emotional. I really liked the point of view you used for this, from Hermione's perspective it all seems very matter-of-fact. That was the way it happened and there was no doubts.
Most one-shots leave me disappointed or wanting for more but the ending although not a happy one for Ginny, was still a satisfying one.
A very well-written story.^^

um.. yeah.. okay... interesting fic. lol ^,~ not quite sure what to say, but I liked it...
