you should make a sequel. and in the sequel make it to where everything was just a dream. sorry, i mean this story is great but i cried through the entire thing. i literally went through 2 rolls of toilet paper. anyway great story. that baby shouldnt have died. (especially like that)

I just started reading this story today, and I'm definitely hooked. It is so heart-breaking, but incredibly well written. I'm still going to work my way through it this weekend to catch up, but I could't go on without responding to this chapter. There were so many beautiful things that happened here... I loved the scene with Derek helping Meredith in the shower. It was such a loving gesture that really showed how much he cares for her. So well executed. I also liked the scenes with the other characters getting ready for the funeral and reflecting on the news. You understand these characters and the way they think and talk in a way that few authors are able to execute. Bravo, my dear! I love it.

Sorry I didn't review chapter 17 life has been busy. But I loved them both. Loverly chapters. Poor Derek. And I might be the only one but I want Mere to be able to tell Derek how she feels about him keeping stuff from her.

Loved Mark being there for Derek, and the descripion you gave of their friendship since they were 4 years old, and Derek being able to speak of how he feels. Very sad, but so incredibly well written. Your updates are always worth the wait. He's trying to protect Mer about Nancy, and now she's the one that has to be there for him. Thanks for this story... hope thre's still a long ways to go to see them heal and find some happiness again.
