This is a really deep and emotional character study. You captured his state of mind really well. I wish you'd continue, thier is so many different things you could do with this. For instace I'd be intrested in what would happen if someone heard him crying, it also seems to be going in the direction of an attempted suicide. Anyway I hope you continue, but if you don't this will still be a very powerfull oneshot.

Aw, loved it, I love Charlie, i can't believe what they did to him! That was really good, really got Charlie's self-depreciating character in there. Aw, don'tcha just wanna give him a hug?

wow. That was so emotional. I really liked it. Especially the end where you concluded all he wanted was someone to smile and say good morning to him.
