Oh. the tears!!!!! This is a very sad story. I really think and hope that they will bring QUI-GON back even as a blue ghost in EPISODE II. I think that he died immaturely. Why couldn't George write him atleast for ONE more EPISODE. SIGH!!!!! (10)

Umm, I get what you're saying, urn. I think I was trying to show a sensetivity to the Queen and show the same sort of realisation that ther is in "The Other Side" but I shouldn't have to explain, so I may have to rework that part. Urrk. I had a kind of similar experience to the fic today, because one of my friends tripped and split her chin open and for the next few hours the memories kept haunting me. And Candie K., when I was writing this I had "Crash and Burn" set on repeat!

Very poignant. I can sense the intense emotion you feel regarding the situation at the end of TPM; and you have accurately conveyed it with your use of descriptive language. And I think you have the Obi-Wan character down pat. However, I don't know if Queen Amidala would be so intimate with Obi-Wan at this point.
