I'd wondered about this moment, and love the way you wrote it. Caesar is perfect. I love watching him confront Xena's inner recesses, and his own. I loved seeing Xena show more humanity than usual, even though she does it with inhuman force. It was even romantic! Excellent, excellent fic. |
