c2t2 2007-06-20 ch 2, anon.	abuseThat's just about how I imagined a fight between those two would go... if InuYasha was in his normal half-demon form. Change that little detail, and I would be LOVING this story, but as it is, I REALLY think you're underestimating Ranma (or overestimating InuYasha, or both) way too much. Please please please please change that? This story has such potential to be so awesome... especially since you write so well!
Alex Ultra 2007-06-19 ch 2,	abuseI disagree rather strongly about Inuyasha being any more than a punching bag for Ranma in his human form. I mean Sango was fighting rather well against him in demon form, and she was on her last leg physically at the time. Inuyasha is little more than a brawler compared to Ranma, and even with Ranma blinded Inuyasha would have trouble really beating Ranma without using his sword. Inuyasha may be the descendant of a powerful demon, but all he really knows about combat is "Blow it up till it don't move no more", a classic case of instant power syndrome, really, except that he was born with much of his power. I mean, above most people, without his sword Inuyasha's only claim to fame is the ability to create big gashes in the ground (and yell a lot), Ranma can do all that and more a lot faster and with much, much more coordination. In his human form, Inuyasha may act all strong and hot, but in a fight he'd be little better than Akane. Akane is more capable than the average human, but is still not in the league of even Ukyo, let alone Ranma, who can break buildings by landing against them and idly note that Ryoga'd gotten stronger. Ranma I can see being overwhelmed by the strength of Inuyasha's demon form, but not his speed, and certainly not either when in human form, no matter what part of the series it would be. Other than that, well... honestly, this story doesn't seem to have gone anywhere yet. Still, looks interesting. Sorry, still can't get over the thought of Ranma being overpowered by human Inuyasha... claymade 2007-06-19 ch 2,	abuseAh, getting right into it with a Ranma/Inu-yasha fight, eh? Good stuff. Inu-yasha seemed to have the distinct advantage this time out; here's hoping Ranma can find a way to hold his own... The bit about the unspecified side effects was brilliantly evil. :-)
Kachie 2007-06-18 ch 2,	abuseI gotta say, this is awesome. This is definitely a believable adventure for Ranma and Akane to have. I for one have Always hated the flashbacks people do, but you've done it in a unique enough way that I actually enjoyed reading it. You got Ranma's personality spot on and his commentary on his own memories cracked me up. Second chapter was really nice as well. You've made the relations between the two families believable and seem to have all the characterizations down pat. I especially love how you decided to have the two heroes of my two favorite mangas meet. Although is Inuyasha still that strong in human form? Enough for Ranma to feel really pushed? 'cause by skills alone, I would say Ranma would win hands down against Inuyasha's human form. . . well, maybe not hands down, but definitely in the end. Ranma is insanely good at what he does. . and Inuyasha, well, he's a bit of a brawler. But that's just a technicality, still love what you have so far. =) I think my only disappointment is the time line. Although it does fit really well, the fluffy moments can only go so far because well, we know how they are towards each other after this point. Anyways, update soon! ^_^
