This was a very good story. A great insight to some of Daniel's thought processes during his 'reintegration' after returning from the dead.

This was beautiful. You captured the confusion and frustration Daniel must have felt as his memories returned very nicely, as well as Jack's patient irritation and Daniel's gradual realization. I loved the part where Jack's offer of beer brought the Shades of Grey flash. Getting emotions like that without context must be unsettling in the extreme. Well done.

This is really sweet. I love Daniel trying not to overanalyse things - not something that comes easily to him. You've got a really good handle on thier voices.
