According to this chapter, “Just the normal 200 or so Pettigrew sightings,” Frank said wryly. “I swear, every time someone sees a rat in this city, they call us.” Since the press release with info about Pettigrew was given just within 48 hours of the Potters' death & clearly the public knows about Pettigrew's animaugs form according to the above statement from Frank Longbottom, no wizarding family would take a magical rat as pet that they just happened to find somewhere on the slim chance that the rat could be Pettigrew. Yet, Arthur in a previous chapter let his son Percy take home a clearly magical rat found loose within the Ministry without having the rat checked out first. Arthur as a Ministry employee and often working with the DMLE as part of his job should know not to take a RAT home when the most wanted fugitive can BECOME A RAT.

I'm confused about when this chapter and the one previous occurred. In Chapter 6, it has been over 2 years since Harry defeated Voldemort and Snape was arrested just a few days later. Yet in this chapter and the previous, Chapters 7-8, Snape is just now having his trail. It shouldn't have taken over 2 years to have a trail to determine Snape's guilt. Also in Chapter 6, it was implied that Draco's custodial issues were already taken care of. I also noticed this skipping around between future, present, past and then the present again during the chapters where Sirius was injured as Padfoot and stuck in the Vet's clinic. Doing this just confuses your reader on what the timeline is and you often set your self up to contradict earlier facts from previous chapters.

I don't know if this story will ever be continued, but I hope so. I've enjoyed it very much so far! It has been very entertaining reading about how Dumbledore has been stopped with every trick he tries. It has been gratifying to have the Longbottoms thrive to raise Harry and Neville. It's great to have Sirius creating a family with Sarah and Draco. Snape is free of Dumbledore and can be a part of his godson's life. It was very clever of the author to think of a way to magically enforce Sirius' and Severus' good behavior toward each other. It was also very funny that Myrtle 'rescued' Dumbledore's guilty secrets from the toilet. This is a great story!! There is also the fact that Dumbledore, Moody, Pettigrew, the LeStranges, Voldemort and his horcruxes are still around and dangerous. I HAVE to put this story on my alerts list, just in case it is continued.

This is really a great story so far. Enjoy the manipulative Dumbles you've created, and the chess match going on between him and Bones. Very nicely done, and some good grins so far. One minor thing I noticed is that in the next to last chapter you renamed Draco as Drake, but in the last chapter you're back to referring to him as Draco. Not sure if this was intentional or not. Nice story that deserves to be continued. I do hope you can come back to this one, and hope the health problems have abated. Thanks for a great read! p.s. Love the pen name!
