Oh God, I loved this, so so much. It's funny and it's light, and it still captures Teddy.

Also, I agree with your take on Teddy. I used to love him, but I reread the series recently and was stunned by how little characterization Montgomery gets away with- a real pity because Emily is one of her strongest characters.

Interesting to write a story from Teddy's perspective...you did capture the way he wants to express himself but is a painter, not a writer. I haven't reread the books for ages but I used to read them constantly...and you know what, I think I agree with you about Teddy. He didn't DO much in the novels, did he? Perry is more memorable to me because he had more spunk. Dean and Ilse and Elizabeth and Jimmy...come to think of it, years after reading the books, ALL the characters are more memorable to me than Teddy. Why is this??

Yay! Thanks for updating! I remember not liking Teddy much for parts of Emily's Quest, but by the end I couldn't help forgiving him. :)

Wow... I can relate with Teddy even more now! Always thinking about the person he likes and wondering what she's doing, if she's alright and all of that stuff. The thing that I could really relate to was when he asked everyone he knew about what to do!

But anyways it was really interesting getting to read more about Teddy's thoughts. I wonder what he's going to do next! And after reading these two chapters I kind of feel like reading the actual novel.

OMG! I can totally relate to this guy... well kind of! I've actually started writing a type of journal. Just organizing my thoughts and stuff. But yeah I totally can relate and I can understand how Teddy is feeling! It's hard to be in love...

But anyways good job...I can totally visualize everything that's happening and it was just written really well! keep up the good work!
