"Some Things Were Meant To Be" is a great story. I guess it's also meant to be that you have decided for whatever reason to abandon your marvelous stories. Where are you? Are you in prison? In the FBI witness protection program? In Antarctica? On the space station?? C'mon. Don't leave us hanging. You have an obvious gift and these fabulous stories deserve an equally fabulous ending!

Okay, usually I don't read stories that haven't been updated recently-ish or are, you know, complete. I'm not really sure why exactly I made the exception in the case of this story, but I'm both annoyed and glad that I did.


It's an awsome story and the writing is superb (that's the glad I read it part) but seriously, it's been how long since you updated?! (Obviously that's the annoyed part... or maybe it's more like heartbroken.)


I really, really, really hope you haven't gone off and forgotten your poor, defenseless fanfics... because that would just be too tragic for words. Seriously.


When you write something as good as this fic, it is a real shame not to see it through to the end. (Plus it really, really, really sucks for all those unfortunates who want to read it! Honestly, I think I nearly cried when I got to the end of the chapter and then went up and counted the MONTHS! since you last wrote it. Then I went to your profile page and saw that is was the thing you updated most recently, and I really did cry.)


Anyway, this review sort of got away from me. It's ridicously long and I haven't done anything but berate you for not updating... sorry about that...


So, on the off chance that you read this far, I'd like to tell you that your writing in this fic is phenominal. I've read your other stories, and I think this is the best of merrit of sure technical talent. (Wierd, since you were writing For Marti at the same time... but I stand by the fact that your writing in this is the best.)


Maybe I think that because you've mangaged to take a fairly played out idea and spin in in such a way that its like new again. (Seriously, the scene with Scheldon, I laughed forever!)


I like that both Derek and Casey and aware of the switch in your story, because they tend not to be in other oh-no-i've-been-sent-to-a-world-where-my-life-is-wonderfully/horrible-different fics. It's usually centred around one or the other or they're not in the same place, etc, so you don't get the interaction that's generally the best part of dasey fics.


You've got the rare (in fanfiction authors, at least) ability to be both a story teller and a writer at the same time, and I applaud that.


Keep up the wonderful work, whatever you're writing, and please, please, please, take pity on people like me who have nothing better to do than sit around and write ridiculously long reviews and UPDATE, AlREADY!;)

i really love your writing and dasey! ive read all of your stuff and i love how real it is. youre also very true to the real characters. this is one of th most well-written stories i have read. i really hope you havent completely abandoned your writing because you are an amazing writer! ive noticed its been quite a while since youve updated =( youre awesome so keep at it! =)

Oh God! I would have ripped my hair out in sheer annoyance or confusion. I couldnt live in that world and that was only a taster!
I do have to say that I want to slap Nora and punch Darrell and i havent even met him lol
